Building Surveying

Babbage Building Surveying has significant experience as arbitrators, mediators and expert witness in construction disputes, and includes members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the New Zealand Institute of Architects and the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors.

We report on technical due diligence and pre-lease inspection on commercial and industrial properties, as well as carry out asbestos management surveys and provide asbestos management plans. We also assess weathertightness of residential and commercial buildings, the performance and durability of building materials used in construction, and building maintenance obligations under the terms of a lease. When reporting on buildings, we are independent and impartial.

If required, we act as a single point of contact for a wide range of services including architecture, structural engineering, building services engineering and environmental.
